Terms & Conditions

All contracts for the sale of goods (which may be with or without services), between Mid Hants Ltd and its customers, incorporate, exclusively, Mid Hants Ltd standard terms and conditions of sale posted on Mid Hants Ltd website at the date when the contract is concluded.

 

Contracts are concluded at the point of order acknowledgement or the point of dispatch of goods, whichever is earlier.

 

Clauses

 

  • All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT.

  • All telephone calls to Mid Hants Ltd are recorded as part of our enquiry and order taking process.

  • All materials are subject to availability.

  • The prices quoted are based on a minimum of either 29 or 20 tonnes, as stated above. Capped haulage charges will be applied to part loads and informed on receipt of order.

  • All orders must be placed with a valid PO number. Mid Hants Ltd does not accept responsibility for incorrect PO numbers given.

  • Additional charges will be incurred for deliveries / collections outside normal working hours.

  • The prices quoted are inclusive of Aggregate Levy surcharge where applicable.

  • SHW materials conform to the relevant grading requirements of series 600 of the SHW. Other specified properties are not routinely tested. Further information can be provided on request.

  • Mid Hants Ltd cannot guaranteed the moisture content of the 6F4/6F5 during wet weather.

  • Scalping’s are not produced to a specification.

  • Colour variations occur naturally; therefore, we cannot guarantee colours.

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to satisfy themselves that any materials that they purchase from Mid Hants Ltd are suitable for use in their end project.

  • Mid Hants Ltd reserves the right to make any change to the specification of the materials which does not materially affect the quality and performance of the materials, or which is required by law or applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Quotation based on email enquiry; no written specification received.

  • This quote expires in 30 days from the quote date.

 

Additional charges

​

  • A cancellation charge of £250.00 will be applied to all ordered loads cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled delivery.

  • A returned product charge of £10.00 per tonne will be incurred to cover the costs associated with handling, administration, and haulage recovery.

  • Waiting time will be charged at £140 per hour (pro-rated for part hours) after the first 30 minutes.

  • Redirected loads will be charged at £2.50 per redirected mile.

  • Extended working hours will be incurred for deliveries / collections outside normal working hours. Please enquire for rates by emailing orders@midhants.com.
